Viacam Security introduces our latest High Speed PTZ Pro Cam. A high quality image sensor capabale of 720p HD resolution together with full metal bodied IP66 weatherproof enclosure makes this ideal camera for outdoor locations.

HONG KONG, September 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Viacam Security Systems introduces their High Speed PTZ camera. This camera comes with a powerful 18x optical zoom and 4.7 - 84.6mm autofocus, it offers superb picture quality at a maximum resolution of 1280x720 pixels, or more commonly referred to as 720p HD. Capable of triple or dual streams in either H.264, MPEG4 and MJPEG formats.

The high speed PT motors give 360° continuous pan at up to 240° per second, and 180° tilt at up to 120° per second. Programmable with 6 cruising tracks and 27 pre defined positions. The PTZ is controlled using the industry standard Pelco.d protocol.

A full metal IP66 weatherproof enclosure and 3,000 volts lightning protection ensure your camera is safe in exposed outdoor conditions.

Despite lacking infrared illuminators, it gives good low light capabilities, with 0.5 LUX colour, and 0.02 LUX B&W images.

The IP PTZ ProCam has been installed at Grandview Tower Condominium and hotel complex in Angeles City, Philippines. This was part of a 90 camera installation covering 7 floors. The IP PTZ ProCam was chosen for it's excellent low light capabilities, reliability and performance and is situated on the exterior perimeters of the building. When compared to other competitors the IP PTZ ProCam specifications and price were determining factors in Grandview Towers choice.
